How We Work
KC Foundation Cost is an independent referral and information site for the Kansas City metro (Missouri and Kansas).
- We are not a foundation repair contractor, engineering firm, inspector, or insurer. We don't perform or guarantee repairs.
- Our cost ranges come from published contractor price lists and national cost guides, with sources and dates listed on each page.
- When you request a quote, we review it and if we can match you, share it with one local contractor. That contractor may pay us a referral fee. Fees don't change the cost information we publish, and you pay nothing to us.
- The contractor you're connected with is independent. Their quote, contract, work and warranty are between you and them. Check licensing, insurance and references yourself.
- For structural movement, we recommend considering an independent structural engineer.
What happens when you request a quote
- Tell us about your foundation. Use the form: a sentence or two about what you're seeing is enough. Photos aren't needed yet.
- We review it. A real person checks that you're in our service area and that it's a foundation repair request. No automated blasting to lists.
- We try to connect you with one local contractor. If one serves your area, we pass your request to one independent foundation repair company. They contact you to schedule an inspection and quote.
- You decide. The quote, contract, work and warranty are between you and the contractor. There's no obligation, and we never charge homeowners.
